CHERCHEUR EN HISTOIRE DE L’ART MODERNE
Alexander Dencher est doctorant en histoire de l’art aux Universités de Leyde et Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, où il prépare une thèse sur l’usage politique des arts sous Guillaume III d’Orange (1650-1702). Dans le cadre du projet LexArt il travaille sur le traité Groot schilderboeck (Amsterdam, 1707) du peintre néerlandais Gerard de Lairesse (1641-1711). Il s’intéresse à l’histoire sociale des arts aux XVIIe-XVIIIe siècles en Hollande, en France et en Angleterre.
Alexander Dencher is a PhD candidate in art history at the Universities of Leiden and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he is preparing a thesis on the political use of arts under William III of Orange (1650-1702). Under the LexArt project he works on the treaty Groot schilderboeck (Amsterdam, 1707) of the Dutch painter Gerard de Lairesse (1641-1711) . He is interested in the social history of arts in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in Holland, France and England.
